FAQs

What’s inside the Panic Pouch™?

Five VERY sour candies, a pack of spearmint gum, a menthol inhaler, and an instant cold pack. Research confirms each one gives your senses something strong to redirect focus from stress and panic-inducing stimuli: the sharp sour taste, the act of chewing mint gum, the cool menthol to breathe in, and the cold against your skin (the vagus nerves in your neck). It all fits in a pouch that tucks into a purse, backpack, glove box, or desk drawer.

How do I use it during a panic attack?

Open the pouch and start with any of the four products. Pop a sour candy and focus on the taste. Breathe in the menthol inhaler. Hold the cold pack against the side of your neck. Chew the gum. There’s no wrong order. You’re giving your brain something physical to focus on until the panic eases.

Are there allergens in the candy or gum?

Ingredient and allergen info for the current candy and gum is listed on each product page. If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, message us before ordering and we’ll help you figure out if it’s a fit (or customize where we can).

What’s your return policy?

Because the pouch contains food items, we can’t accept returns on opened products. If your order arrives damaged or something’s wrong, message us within 30 days and we’ll make it right. Your peace of mind is kind of our whole thing!

Tell me about the donation program!

For every five pouches purchased, we donate one to someone who needs it. We work with partner organizations, schools, community program, etc. to get pouches into hands that might not otherwise have them. Every purchase you make helps someone else, too. Contact us if you’re interested in your program becoming a recipient.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?

Yes! We love partnering with schools, clinics, offices, and organizations. We’ve supplied all kinds of groups, including nursing programs and are always excited to work with groups who care about mental wellness. Reach out through our contact page and we’ll put together a quote.

Is the Panic Pouch™ a medical device?

No. We created Panic Pouch™ to help in tough moments, but it’s a wellness tool, not a medical device, and it isn’t a substitute for care from a doctor or therapist. If you’re experiencing a mental health emergency, please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or dial 911.
